2. Project Scientist/ Postdoctoral Position in Quantum Algorithms (theory)
About the Position
The position is focused on the development of new quantum algorithms — theoretical design, analysis, and demonstration of quantum advantage — rather than the explicit focus on implementation or execution of existing algorithms on commercial cloud quantum-computing platforms.
What We Are Looking For
A completed Ph.D. in quantum computing, quantum information theory, quantum algorithms, or a closely related area, with a strong, verifiable publication record.
A genuine interest in algorithm design. Candidates should be motivated by developing new quantum algorithms and understanding their theoretical underpinnings.
Alignment with the groups research directions, which include quantum walks and quantum walk based quantum algorithms, photonic quantum computing, and quantum information theory.
3. Project Scientist/ Postdoctoral Position in photonic quantum computing (Experiments)
About the Position
This is an experimental position: the work involves hands-on laboratory development of photonic quantum computing systems — building, operating, and characterizing photonic hardware.
What We Are Looking For
A completed Ph.D.in experimental quantum optics, experimental photonic quantum computing, or a closely related experimental area, with a strong, verifiable publication record in the domain of quantum computing.
Hands-on experimental experience. Candidates should have demonstrated laboratory experience relevant to photonic quantum systems — e.g., single-photon sources and detectors, integrated/fiber photonic circuits, optical table alignment, quantum state tomography or characterization, or related instrumentation and control.
